Six Day Weekend

I'm using some of my vacation time to turn this holiday weekend into a 6 day weekend. Don't have to go back to work till Tuesday night!

If I had any sense, I'd use this time to catch up on my sleep, but that will probably never happen. But at least I'll have a chance to thaw (I work in a freezer).

We're expecting some nice weather, so maybe I can get out and add some more birds to my collection. I'm planning to use this time as a sort of retreat. I always feel closest to the Lord when I'm tramping through the woods. He's been leading me in some new directions lately and I need to get alone with Him and sort it all out.

I reckon I'll have to make an effort to see the new X-men film, since it's being touted as a allegory for the ex-gay movement in The Village Voice. Wonder if there will be protestors?
